The Ocean Clipper CNC Angle Line exceeds worldwide Safety Requirements

The Ocean Clipper CNC Angle Line is an inherently safe machine, but all machines have potential safety issues. Peddinghaus has been designing structural steel fabricating machinery for over 102 years and all machines are designed to exceed worldwide safety standards.

The Ocean Clipper complies with the European CE certification standard and the US OSHA standard.

Ocean Clipper Safety Features

• Safety laser light curtain around all moving parts including the punch, shear and drilling components. This prevents an operator from entering the moving part area while the machine is energized. Should a person trip this light curtain the machines automatically stops operating.
• Safety E-Stop buttons in easy to reach areas on the machine. This allows the operator to hit the E-Stop button in the event of an issue.
• Transparent Perspex window over the Siemens CNC control allowing the operator to troubleshoot the electrical and logic circuits without having to open the electrical cabinets. This is a superb safety feature as well as a great time saver.
• Superior Automatic Lockout Switches. All electrical cabinet doors on the Ocean Clipper Angle line have automatic lockout devices that ensure that whenever they are opened, the machine operation is temporarily suspended, allowing the operator to make tool changes and adjustments in safety.
• The machine will only resume once all safety lockout switches have been reactivated.
